The short version

Where I came from, what I am good at, and every city that has stamped the page.

Rakic / Iva / HRV / 2002 Issued Zagreb 2019 / resident Milan / valid worldwide

I was scouted at a swimming pool in Split at seventeen and told to finish school first, which is the only piece of industry advice I have ever been glad to take.

Six years later I work five markets on a rotation set in January and rewritten every month. Milan is home: a fourth-floor flat in Porta Venezia, a bicycle, and a fitter at Cortile who has known my shoulders longer than I have. Paris is show season and the long train back. New York is campaigns and a suitcase that never fully unpacks.

What designers book me for is the walk. It is slow, it is very still above the waist, and it took two years of a teacher in Zagreb telling me to stop performing. What clients keep me for is duller and more useful: I turn up knowing the collection, I do not complain in a fitting, and I write every note down so the second sample comes back right.

I swim in open water in every market that has any. That is the whole personality, and it is the reason I am never ill in February.

What the people who booked me say

Each one filed against the job it came off, so you can see what they are talking about.

Fall/Winter show, Milan

She learned the exit in one rehearsal and then held it for eleven looks without a single note from me. That is rarer than it sounds.
Anna Prati Casting, Ravello

Six Coats, Paris

Twelve hours in a cold studio and the last frame is the one we printed. She does not fade, and she reads the light without being told where it is.
Julien Marchal Photographer

Pre-fall fitting, Paris

Our pattern cutter still works off the notes she wrote in the fitting. She told us the shoulder was two centimeters wrong and she was right.
Neve Callan Studio director, Bastion

Winter campaign, Milan

The client picked her from four options and never asked to see the others again. She turned up knowing the collection better than half the crew.
Tomas Ferrer Art director, Vesper Atelier

Place an option

Tell me the client, the city and the dates. Everything else is settled by the agency.

Your name
Email
Client or production
City and dates
The job, the usage and the budget
  1. The option is held

Your dates go on hold for 48 hours while Zagreb checks the rest of the schedule and the travel.

  2. Terms come back

You get the usage, the territory and the term written out, in US dollars, with the travel and the fitting days costed separately.

  3. First option confirms

Whoever holds the first option decides. If that is not you, the agency tells you the same day rather than leaving it open.
